Symmetric step: the best middle line first, and a legs check
The Symmetric step now picks the better middle line itself, straight or bendy, and shows which one is in use. It warns when legs stand so close to the middle that mirroring could cut them, and a skipped upload step can be opened again.
On a model whose legs stand close together, like an elephant, keeping every default in the Symmetric step could turn four legs into three: the middle line cut through the inner legs. Now:
- The better middle line first. When the step opens, MonRig tries a straight and a bendy middle line and starts with the one that fits your model better. A Flat plane | Bendy line switch shows which one is in use and lets you change it.
- A legs check. If legs stand so close to the middle that mirroring could cut them, the step warns you before you apply it.
- Apply in the picture. Apply is a big button between the two pictures, with a hint to drag the red points. Keep the other side is in the picture too, and the view from above can zoom and pan.
- Go back to a step. In the upload, the Lighter and Symmetric steps can be opened again after you skipped or finished them.
