Bake log: no more false "bones outside the mesh" warning

Some bakes warned that bones sat outside the mesh even though the rig was clean. The check now always looks at the body in its rest pose, and when the warning is real, it names the bones.

From the third bake stage on, a bake could report something like "10 bone(s) sit OUTSIDE the mesh" about a rig the editor called clean. The check had compared your bones with the body in the middle of an animation, so a raised leg looked like a bone sticking out.

  • The check now looks at the body at rest, the way you placed the bones, and leaves the animation as it was.
  • A real warning names its bones. The bake log lists each bone and how far it sits outside, and the bake view shows them in its note.

Nothing to do on your side. Your next bake gets the corrected check.
