Snakes: reared cobras, spiral curls and a real fall
A snake that holds its front body up, like a cobra, now faces where its snout points, keeps its coil on the floor and strikes forward. Every snake curls into a spiral to sleep, and a reared snake falls off its coil when defeated.
A cobra stands on a coil: the tail lies on the floor and the front of the body rises from it. MonRig treated such a snake like one lying flat, so it struck backwards, lifted its tail stiffly into the air and broke apart in Sleep and Defeated. Now:
- Facing the right way. A raised snake with no feet faces where its snout points.
- The coil stays down. In every animation the coil keeps lying on the floor, and the body rises out of it without a kink.
- The strike goes forward. Attack_1 slides forward from the coil, leans the raised body into the bite and keeps the head steady.
- A spiral to sleep. Sleep's curl now winds every snake on the ground into a tight spiral, its head at the centre.
- A real fall. When defeated, a raised snake topples off its coil: forward, to the side or onto its back, depending on the Defeated style. Sleep lies it down the same way.
- Fewer empty dials. Defeated dials a raised snake cannot use are hidden.
