Rabbits hop like rabbits: the hind feet land in front of the forepaws
On a rabbit the hind feet now swing past the forepaws and touch down ahead of them, as in a real bound. A new dial sets how far, and frogs keep their hop exactly as before.
A hopper that runs on its forepaws used to land its hind feet behind the hands, like a frog. A rabbit does it the other way round:
- The forepaws land first, a little further back, and lift again as the hind feet arrive.
- The back bunches up and the hind feet come through outside the front paws, touching down ahead of their prints.
- The forepaws reach out in the air for the next landing.
- A new dial, Hind feet pass the front feet, on Hop and Run2. 0 is the frog's hop, 1.5 is the rabbit's default.
New creatures on the Kangaroo / rabbit layout get the bound right away. Frogs are untouched. Open a rabbit's Hop to see it.
