Guided rig on spiders and other many-legged creatures
Guided rig refused some many-legged creatures with every marker in place, saying bones ran outside the body. Your markers are now also saved before the first rig, knees that dip fold the right way, and Auto rig no longer drops a leg pair that hangs just above the floor.
Four problems on creatures with many legs, found on a six-legged spider:
- No more false "outside the body". A foot bone pinned at both ends by your markers was still checked as if it were free, so a curved claw was reported as running outside the body. Bones you have pinned at both ends are no longer judged, and that spider rigged on the first try.
- Your markers are kept. Markers you placed were only saved once the creature had bones. If the first rig was refused, the markers were lost. They are saved as soon as you place them now.
- Knees that dip bend the right way. A knee that sits below the line from hip to foot, as on many spiders, used to fold up when the leg moved. It now folds down.
- Auto rig keeps every leg pair. A pair of legs that hung a little above the floor was taken for something else and dropped. Auto rig now keeps it.
Nothing changes for creatures that already rigged.
