Guided and Auto rig keep a fit that has problems and show the problems in red
A fit with a problem, such as a folded spine, used to be thrown away with an error. Now it always lands on the stage, with the problem in red, so you can fix it by hand. The fit also no longer folds a spine by itself.
A guided fit or an Auto rig could end with "the spine folds" and give you nothing, even though most of the rig was fine.
- You always get the rig. A fit with a problem lands on the stage like any other, and the hint names the problem in red. Move the joint or the marker, or fit again. Only a fit that found no bones at all still fails.
- The spine no longer folds on its own. When no marker pins a spine joint, the fit now lays those joints along the body instead of folding them back.
- The message blames a marker only when one is the cause. If a marker pins the joint, the hint says which marker. Otherwise it doesn't send you hunting for one.
Run a guided fit or Auto rig as usual to see it.
