Auto rig places both sides on a lopsided model
Auto rig used to propose the markers for one side and mirror them to the other. On a model that is not symmetric, it now proposes the far side too, so a leg that stands differently gets its own markers.
Auto rig found the markers on one side of your model and mirrored them to the other. On a symmetric model that is exactly right. On a lopsided one, a leg that stands a little differently got the mirror of the other leg's markers, and its foot could end up floating above the floor. Now:
- Both sides on a lopsided model. When your model is clearly not symmetric, Auto rig places the far side's markers from what it found there, and ticks Place both sides for you.
- Mirrored on a symmetric model. On a model that is symmetric, nothing changes: the markers are mirrored as before.
On a test giraffe that stands a little crooked, the rig came out green instead of yellow, with the hind foot on the floor.
