The guided rig asks how many legs your creature has
Insects, spiders, crabs and scorpions come with two to six legs a side. The guided rig now asks, and builds exactly that many.
A guided rig for a many-legged creature used the starter's leg count. On a scorpion with three walking legs a side it built four rows, and the extra row hung in the air.
Every many-legged layout now asks at the top of the marker panel: How many walking legs does your model have on one side? (2 to 6, claws and pincers not counted). The skeleton is rebuilt with exactly that many rows between your front and rear legs, and you place a tip marker on each one. AI agents can pass the count to the guided rig too.
On these creatures the knees now rise: a leg that reaches out to the side bends upwards, like an insect's, instead of folding forwards and backwards.
