Straighten the pose: the model follows the bones

After Straighten the pose, the model now keeps its texture and actually changes shape with the skeleton, also on AI-generated models and on legs placed at different joints. Undo works after a reload.

  • The texture stays. The straightened model came back white, and could turn black when you straightened twice. Both are fixed.
  • The preview shows the new model. The animation tabs kept showing the old mesh until you reloaded.
  • The mesh follows the skeleton. On models from AI generators (whose surface is split at every texture seam) the mesh broke into rigid pieces and barely moved. Legs placed at different joints on the two sides were matched wrongly, and leg roots were pulled together. On our test cat, the left/right mismatch after straightening went from 23 % to 6 %.
  • Undo is offered again after you reload the page.
