Snakes slither, strike forward and stay above the floor
Snakes now move as one body: a wave runs from head to tail along the path while the head looks ahead. The strike lunges forward instead of into the floor, and dials a snake cannot use are hidden.
- Slither: the body is one line from the tip of the head to the tip of the tail, and a wave travels down it. The body follows its own path, and the head keeps looking ahead while the body sways. Before, the spine was stiff and swung like a pendulum around the hips.
- New slither dials: how strong the wave is, how many waves fit on the body, how many cycles per loop, and how steady the head stays.
- The strike (Attack_1) rears up, coils into an S and shoots the head forward. It used to dive nose-first a good 30 cm into the floor. Victory rears up too, instead of diving.
- Nothing sinks: a snake stays above its floor in every clip.
- Dials that do nothing on a body are hidden. A snake was shown 284 dials (ears, legs, wings …) that could not move it. This is now checked for every build.
