Orientation: arrows, any angle, tip and tilt

FRONT and UP arrows show which way MonRig thinks your model faces; turn it by any angle, tip it nose up or down, tilt it left or right.

Setup → Orientation got a lot easier to get right:

  • A green FRONT and a blue UP arrow appear in the views. In the side view the front arrow must come out of the face — if the tail points that way, one click turns the model around.
  • If you place the Muzzle behind the Hips anyway, the guided rig notices and offers to turn the model.
  • Turn by 1° or 15° about the vertical, or press Straighten to line the creature up with its own mirror plane.
  • Tip (nose up / nose down) and Tilt (left / right) fix a model that leans in its file — watch the side or front view. The model is set back on the floor after every step.

The bones turn with the model, and the bake uses exactly the orientation you set.
