Flight figures: loops, figure eights and tricks in the air
Creatures that fly, float or swim can fly circles, loops, figure eights and spirals, or twirl, flip and roll on the spot.
A creature that flies, floats or swims can now fly a figure instead of just hovering.
- Travelling: circle, ribbon (a figure eight), loop (a loop-the-loop), corkscrew (a circle with a barrel roll) and spiral (climbing on one turn, gliding down on the next)
- On the spot: twirl, flip (backflip or front flip) and roll, for a playful Idle or a Victory
On the Spawn clip, pick one under Flight figure: the creature glides in, flies the figure and then gives its cry. On any other clip, the new Flight figures group adds as many as you like, one after another, each with its own start, length, size, lean, height and direction.
Smooth decides how fluid it feels: higher values ease in and out longer and softer, and let the tail, ears and fins trail behind the turns.
Every figure ends exactly where it began, facing the same way, so a looping Idle still loops without a jump, and the figure turns around the middle of the body, never through the floor.
