Creatures really sleep now — and can lie down first

Sleep has four styles: doze standing, lie on the belly, curl up, or sleep on the side. An optional lie-down plays first and flows straight into the sleep loop.

Until now Sleep was a doze on the feet — fine for a battle status, odd for a dog at night. The Sleep clip now has a How it sleeps picker:

  • Stand — dozes on its feet, head hanging (the old Sleep)
  • Lie — lies on its belly, legs folded under, chin on the floor
  • Curl — curls up in a ring, nose to tail, like a cat or a fox
  • Side — lies flat on its side, legs out, deep asleep

The Lie-down intro slider adds frames of lying down from standing before the sleep starts (0 = none). Its last frame is exactly the first frame of the same Sleep without the intro, so you can make a seamless pair for your game: duplicate the clip with ⧉, set the intro to 0 on the copy, play the first once and loop the copy.
