Copy and paste dials between creatures, and from the gallery

Copy one animation's dials, or a creature's whole feel, and paste them onto another creature. Makers can let others copy the dials of their public creatures.

Tuned a walk you love? Take it to your next creature.

  • Copy on the Clips tab copies the dials of the animation on screen; Copy on the Dials tab copies the creature's overall feel.
  • Paste on another creature puts them where they belong, and the button says where before you click ("Paste → Walk"). It works by animation type: dials copied from a custom attack land on the matching animation, and an animation the creature does not have yet is created under its name. Undo takes it back in one step.
  • The rig itself is never copied: stance width, leg shape and everything that belongs to the body stay as they are.

Share your dials. On your public creature's page, under its animations, pick Let others copy the dials: all animations, or just the ones you choose. Visitors then see a Copy button next to the animation playing, and the gallery has a new ⧉ Copyable filter. Only animations you show on the page can be copied, and only their dial values leave the server, never your rig or your model.
